Sept 24 Meeting - 6:30pm at Canyon Walk Daycare and Tree Planting Oct 3

Hi Families,

I hope the Guides are all recovered from camp this past weekend. We had a fun time and were very glad that the weather cooperated (for the most part!).

This week we are back in the Canyon Walk Daycare for our meetings. The daycare is attached to Steve MacLean PS and the entrance is on Golden Eye Way (NOT Spratt). Please note that our meeting time will now be 6:30pm to 8:15pm unless otherwise specified.

This week we will be working on a variety of activities, including more of the You in Guiding program, the Cookies Rising badge (cookies will be available Oct. 8), and a few items we didn’t get to at camp.

Other notes:

Please remind your Guide to bring indoor shoes, dues and her program book to each meeting.


We have reserved some spots for our unit to go tree planting on Saturday October 3 from 9:00am to 12:00pm, at Calzavara Family Park, which is at 1502 Blohm Drive (just north of Hunt Club Rd. between Conroy and Hawthorne). Please let us know if you are planning to attend by Friday September 25. Parents and siblings are welcome.
