I apologize for the short notice, but a mix-up with our Guide Store
order that we found out about today means that we do not have all of our pins,
etc. for enrollment tomorrow night. So, unfortunately we need to postpone
enrollment until next week (October 23).
Instead of enrollment, we would like to do our hike in Manotick tomorrow
night (October 16) in order to earn our Outdoor in the City badge. We will meet
at Watson’s Mill at 6:15. Please dress for the weather (planning to stay
outside for an hour and a half), bring a water bottle and flashlight, as well
as a compass if you have one.
I have already spoken to some parents, but I would really appreciate it
if you could respond to this email so I know you have received it. If you have
problems getting to the Mill please let us know that as well and we can see
about arranging a ride.
